Vintage from the 1960s: Creazioni Silvestri Arte Murano Crystal Marbled Glass Vintage Ice Bucket with Gold Handle & Cherub Champagne Flutes Set of 2. Made in Italy.
This gorgeous art glass ice bucket (some say “pitcher”) is by Creazioni Silvestri and was made in Italy in Murano. The heavy glass is beautifully shaped and has intricate pattern designs. The swirl bottom is has deep ridges which form the large swirl. The ridges gracefully continue up from the bottom on the sides about a third of the way to the top. The white on pattern reminds me of clouds. The gold-tone handle is shiny and fits on the knobs formed from the glass sides.
The bowl of the bucket stands 5 inches tall and the opening is 4 ½ inches in diameter. The handle has a 4 inch drop.
This bucket is in very good vintage condition. It is free of chips, cracks or repairs. The handle does have some tarnishing.
